We look forward to supporting these athletes as they prepare for the road ahead.”

Skeleton is one of the fastest and most technically demanding winter sports, where fractions of a second decide races. Carpenter Technology's expertise in advanced materials and metallurgy helps optimize sled components, improve stability, reduce drag, and sharpen responsiveness on the track.

"Carpenter Technology has been an invaluable partner in helping our athletes compete at the highest level," said Aron McGuire, CEO of USA Bobsled/Skeleton. "Every hundredth of a second matters in this sport, and access to their materials expertise gives our athletes a real edge on the track as we build on this partnership heading into the season."

Founded in 1889, Carpenter Technology develops premium titanium-, nickel-, and cobalt-based alloys for the aerospace, defense, medical, transportation, energy, and industrial markets. Its innovations translate directly to elite sport, where gains are measured in milliseconds.

The renewed partnership builds on advancements already made in sled development and performance. Both organizations plan to keep exploring new ways to apply materials science and engineering to help USA Skeleton stay competitive internationally.

Together, USA Skeleton and Carpenter Technology will continue pursuing innovation-driven performance, giving American athletes access to cutting-edge technology as they compete for podiums worldwide.
