Armbruster Humphries & Renna Win Gold in Sigulda

SIGULDA, LATVIA (December 21, 2025) - Kaillie Armbruster Humphries and Emily Renna slid to a first-place finish today in 2-Woman Bobsled, marking an exciting end to World Cup sliding in 2025.
In 2-Woman Bobsled, Team USA placed as follows:
1st place - Kaillie Armbruster Humphries and Emily Renna; 2-run time of 1:42.80
4th place - Elana Meyers Taylor and Jadin O’Brien; 2-run time of 1:43.10
13th place - Kaysha Love and Sadie McMullen; 2-run time of 1:43.84
“Being back on top after 3 years feels great. This is my first win as a mom, and a first win ever for Emily, this is a special one for us both. I’m proud of how we performed at the start and down the track. The equipment and the MUSA sleds specifically ran really well here. A special thanks to DeBotech, advance, and Marc for making us a sled that rivals the best In The world. A perfect early Christmas present for us both, and the team,” shared Armbruster Humphries about her exciting win.
“Today was a special win with it being Kaillie’s first win since becoming a mom and my first World Cup win ever. I’m really proud of how we focused on what we could control and how we put a really great race together as a team! I’m also super grateful for the coaches, sports med staff and teammates who helped make this day smooth and successful!” shared Renna.
In 2-Man Bobsled Race 2, Team USA placed as follows:
6th place - Frank Del Duca and Hunter Powell; 2-run time of 1:39.90
24th place - Geoff Gadbois and Bryce Cheek; 1-run time of 51.17s
The World Cup tour will resume in 2026 with races in Winterberg, Germany kicking off January 2, 2026.
Europe Cup (EC)
The EC tour stop in Winterberg concluded today. Lauren Brzozowski alongside Lolo Jones placed 12th with a 2-heat time of 1:54.00 in 2-Woman Bobsled.
The EC tour will resume in 2026 with races in Innsbruck, Austria beginning January 9, 2026.
