Ashley Walden

    Ashley Walden Director of Internal Operations

    As the director of internal operations for USA Bobsled & Skeleton, Ashley Walden is responsible for high performance planning, planning and executing of programs and assisting the USABS coaching staff with all programs. In addition, she manages the USABS partnerships with the Utah Olympic Park and the Olympic Regional Development Authority in Lake Placid, New York. Furthermore, Walden is accountable for the selection criteria for athlete support programs and team qualification process, as well as managing athlete insurance, direct athlete support and career programs. She is also responsible for athlete membership, visas, FIBT licenses and race entries, USADA drug testing education and submissions, and OTC and athlete housing.

    Walden is a graduate of the USSA sport management program. Upon graduation, she continued her education, obtaining a master's degree in project management from the Keller Graduate Program.

    Walden is a former luge athlete, where she was a 16-time member of the national team. She also competed in the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games, finishing 8th in the Olympic field.
