Caleb Pelger began his bobsled career in 2011 after his brother Jake, who works at the Utah Olympic Park, encouraged him to try it.  Pelger was a decathlete at the United States Air Force Academy, where he receieved his Bachelors of Science in Engineering Mechanics.  Pelger completed pilot training in 2007 and flew B-52 Bombers.  He's currently an MBA candidate at Oklahoma State University online. Pelger's parents have been married for 42 years and he is the youngest of six children.
