Jamie Moriarty became interested in the sport of bobsled after watching the 2006 Olympic Games, during which an injury sidelined him from an arena football training camp. The same year, he joined the U.S. bobsled team and competed in his first race during the 2006-07 season. He finished sixth at the 2007 Junior World Championships in Altenberg, Germany with driver John Napier. He again teamed with Napier to win two gold medals in 4-man on the America's Cup tour during the 2008-2009 season.
ABOUT ME:
Moriarty graduated from Cornell University with a degree in hotel and restaurant management. While at Cornell he also played safety on the football team. Moriarty is married to his wife Nicole and has multiple family members who played in the NFL.
