Kindrick Carter was born on Thursday, October 7, 1999 in Rapid City, S.D. The native of Warrington, Pa. was first introduced to the sport of skeleton during the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games. It took him only 20 seconds to realize that skeleton was the sport for him. Less than two years later, he is a hopeful for the 2016 Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway.

Carter is currently a sophomore at the 21st Century Cyber Charter High School in Warrington. He loves speed. Whether it's being the fastest kid on the playground, to being the first to finish a math quiz, speed is his obsession. His other interests include snowboarding, piano, music, surfing and working with engines. One day, he hopes to design and build cars of the future.

- He once built a go kart, which he promptly sold for money to use for a car.
- He plans to attend college for automotive engineering.
- He played the trumpet for five years. He now plays the piano.
- He started going to Linkin' Park concerts when he was 10 years old.
- He enjoys music and his favorite band is Flux Pavillion.
