    After reading a magazine article about the sport, Mike Snyder contacted a driver to find out how to get involved.  After a four years playing semi-pro football, Snyder began competing in bobsledding in October 2010. 
     
    About me:
    Snyder received a Bachelor's degree in exercise science at the University of Louisville.  Snyder is the son of MaryAnn and Don and has a sister, Christina.  Other than bobsledding, Snyder enjoys reading, making homemade beef jerky and finishing crossword puzzles.
     
    Career Highlights:
    • 2010-2011 World Cup as brakeman for Ethan Albrecht-Carrie in four-man
      -14th in Calgary (12/10), 15th in Park City (12/10), 10th in Lake Placid (12/10)
    • 2010-2011 America's Cup as brakeman for Cory Butner in four-man
      -7th in Park City #1 (11/10), 7th in Park City #2 (11/10), BRONZE in Calgary (11/10)
