    While at the University of Vermont, Roderick wanted to write education policy to teach non-native English speakers. She even helped introduce a program as a minor. ...She is currently working remotely for NCSA, helping high school student athletes be recruited to play their sport in college....After graduating college in 2015, though, she took a break from athletics for over a year. Roderick decided to do the unexpected after college, stepping away from competition for a year to go abroad to Eastern Europe.
