    Sherri Emery was born on February 9, 1990. After seeing skeleton in the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games, Sherri Emery decided to try the sport.  Emery previously competed in the 100m, 200m and triple jump in high school. She is studying to obtain her MBA in entrepreneurship. She has bachelor's degree in sport management/health sciences from California University of Pennsylvania.

    FUN FACTS

    - She taught herself (with help from her mom) to play piano and some violin. 
    - She is currently teaching herself the German language with hopes of moving on to Russian and Mandarin Chinese. 
    - She is an avid reader and researcher and enjoy subjects like psychology and philosophy. 
    - She loves the Dan Brown books series. 
    - Eventually, she would like to own her own business and has wanted to become an commercial airline pilot. 
    - Other sports she enjoys are tennis, track and field and snowboarding.
