TEAM USA CONCLUDES WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN WINTERBERG

WINTERBERG, GERMANY (March 3, 2024) - USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS) concluded World Championships today with heats three and four of 4-Man bobsled.

Piloted by Frank Del Duca with push athletes Adrian Adams, Manteo Mitchell and Hakeem Abdul-Saboor, the team finished yesterday’s first two heats of races with a two-run time of 1:48.98. Today, they completed their final two heats with a four-run combined time of 3:37.63 earning them a 13th-place finish.

“The USA team's performance in both bobsled and skeleton at the IBSF World Championships has been exciting. The progress and improvements seen throughout the season are a reflection of the hard work and dedication of every member of the team. As we approach the final World Cup competition in Lake Placid, we have a great opportunity to conclude the season on a high note and carry the momentum into next season,” shared Aron McGuire, CEO of USA Bobsled/Skeleton.

The next and final World Cup competition of the 2023/2024 sliding season will be held in Lake Placid, NY beginning March 21, which will coincide with the first-ever Pan-American Championships.
