Team USA Kicks Off World Cup Racing in Sigulda

SIGULDA, LATVIA (December 18, 2025) - The World Cup tour stop in Sigulda kicked off today, marking the first of four days of racing on the Latvian track. Following the cancellation of the skeleton races during World Cup Weekend 2 in Innsbruck, Austria, this Sigulda tour stop will feature two skeleton races each for Women’s and Men’s Skeleton.
Women’s Skeleton held its first race today. In Women’s Skeleton Race 1, Team USA placed as follows:
15th place - Mystique Ro and Kelly Curtis (tie); 2-run time of 1:45.07
23rd place - Sara Roderick; 2-run time of 1:36.03
24th place - Kendall Wesenberg; 2-run time of 1:46.46
Tomorrow, December 19, will bring Women’s Skeleton Race 2 and Men’s Skeleton Race 1.
Europe Cup (EC):
Lauren Brozowski competed in Women’s Monobob today on the EC circuit in Winterberg, Germany. She placed 6th with a 2-run time of 2:00.33.
Asian Cup (AC)
Katie Uhlaender competed in her third Women’s Skeleton race this month at the PyeongChang, South Korea track, placing 5th with a 2-run time of 1:46.48.
The final day of AC racing in Korea will take place tomorrow, December 19.
