Team USA in 9th and 12th After First Two Heats of 4-Man Bobsled

CORTINA, ITALY (February 21, 2026) - The first two heats of Olympic 4-Man Bobsled racing kicked off this morning. Representing Team USA in 4-Man Bobsled are Team Horn, comprised of pilot Kris Horn and push athletes Carsten Vissering, Hunter Powell and Caleb Furnell, as well as Team Del Duca, made up of pilot Frank Del Duca and push athletes Boone Niederhofer, Josh Williamson and Bryan Sosoo.
After two runs, Team Horn sits in 9th with a time of 1:49.61. Horn shared his goal for tomorrow’s final two heats is “to push faster, get start rank 1 and pick up some speed at the bottom [of the track].”
Team Del Duca sits in 12th with a time of 1:50.02. “This is our best showing of the year, and a good day to have the best showing of the year,” shared Del Duca in the Mixed Zone about his team’s first two runs.
Team Horn currently sits 1 second behind the leading sled, while Team Del Duca sits 1.41 seconds behind the leader’s pace.
The final two heats of 4-Man racing will take place at 10:00 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. CET tomorrow, February 22. Fans can tune in on NBC or Peacock.
