World Cup sliding continues in Latvia

SIGULDA, LATVIA (December 20, 2025) - Today marked the penultimate day of World Cup racing in 2025, and the final day of racing for the year for Team USA Skeleton before the World Cup season resumes in early January.

Athletes competed in Women’s Monobob, the first of two 2-Man Bobsled races, and the second of twoMen’s Skeletonraces.

In Women’s Monobob, Team USA placed as follows:

-5th place - Elana Meyers Taylor; 2-run time of 1:46.73

-6th place - Kaillie Armbruster Humphries; 2-run time of 1:46.79

-10th place - Kaysha Love; 2-run time of 1:47.10

In 2-Man Bobsled Race 1, Team USA placed as follows:

-5th place - Frank Del Duca and Josh Williamson; 2-run time of 1:39.62

-18th place - Geoff Gadbois and Quinten Arello; 2-run time of 1:40.54

In Men’s Skeleton Race 2, Team USA placed as follows:

-13th place - Austin Florian; 2-run time of 1:42.44

-30th place - Nick Tucker; 1-run time of 53.28s

-32nd place - Dan Barefoot; 1-run time of 53.74s

The last day of World Cup racing for 2025 will take place tomorrow, December 21, with 2-Woman Bobsled beginning at 10:00am EET and the second 2-Man Bobsled race starting at 2:00pm EET.


World Cup sliding continues in LatviaEurope Cup (EC)

On the EC circuit, which is currently racing at the Winterberg, Germany track, the 2-Woman Bobsled competition today was a one-heat race Lauren Brzozowski alongside Lolo Jones placed 9th with a 1-run time of 57.51s.

The second 2-Woman EC Race at this track will take place tomorrow, December 21.
