THE JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS SHOWCASES YOUNG USABS TALENT

WINTERBERG, GERMANY(January 15, 2023) - On January 13, the Junior World Championships commenced in Winterberg. 


Hallie Clarke placed 1st in Women’s Skeleton U20 (under 20) and 4th overall in Women's Skeleton with her time of 1:56.45. 


“I could not be more excited to be the U20 Junior World Champ,” Clarke shared about her exceptional results. “I improved a lot from the World Cup here last week and had a personal best finish!”


On January 14 in Women’s MonobobRiley Compton finished 11th with a time of 2:01.96. 


January 15 brought more results for the USA, with Kaysha Love and Jestena Mattsonplacing 5th in 2-Woman Bobsled with a time of 1:56.36. Lauren Brzozowski and Sydney Milani placed 9th with a time of 1:57.32 and Compton and Sydnie Martindale placed 11th with a time of 2:04.59.
