In 2011, Spencer Nix competed in the CrossFit Games and then wanted to see how general fitness could be applied to the sport of bobsled.  Nix grew up playing tennis and played lacrosse at Texas A&M University.  He also enjoys snowboarding, water sports and traveling with his wife.  His favorite music is reggae and favorite movie is Back to the Future.  Follow him on Twitter!
