Team USA Returns to the Track for Day Two of World Cup Racing in Latvia

SIGULDA, LATVIA (December 19, 2025) - USA Skeleton competed in their second day of World Cup racing in Sigulda today, with Men’s Skeleton Race 1 and Women’s Skeleton Race 2 taking place.
In Men’s Skeleton Race 1, Team USA placed as follows:
14th place - Austin Florian; 2-run time of 1:41.97
23rd place - Dan Barefoot; 2-run time of 1:43.27
32nd place - Nick Tucker; 1-run time of 54.90s
In Women’s Skeleton Race 2, Team USA placed as follows:
22nd place - Kelly Curtis; 2-run time of 1:45.41
25th place - Mystique Ro; 2-run time of 1:47.40
26th place - Kendall Wesenberg; 1-run time of 53.16s
28th place - Sara Roderick; 1-run time of 53.31s
Tomorrow, December 20, will mark the last World Cup Skeleton races of 2025, with Men’s Skeleton taking place at 6pm EET following Women’s Monobob at 10:00am EET and 2-Man Bobsled Race 1 at 2:00pm EET. Fans can livestream and rewatch the races by heading to @IBSFsliding on YouTube.
Asian Cup (AC)
The Pyeongchang, South Korea stop on the Asian Cup (AC) tour wrapped up today. Representing Team USA, Katie Uhlaender placed 2nd with a 2-run time of 1:46.17, marking her fourth top 6 finish and third top 3 finish of the four AC Women’s Skeleton races held at the track this month.
