Bob Balk Wins Silver in the Para Sport World Cup

SIGULDA, LATVIA (January 22, 2026) - The Para Sport World Cup racing circuit began its second weekend in Sigulda today. Bob Balk claimed another podium finish on the Latvian track:

-2nd place: Bob Balk: 2-run time of 1:28.03

-7th place: Will Castillo: 2-run time of 1:28.38

-8th place: Austin Parker: 2-run time of 1:28.43

-10th place: Tyler Jeffries: 2-run time of 1:28.77

-11th place: Doc Jacobs: 2-run time of 1:28.95

-13th place; Gabi Cha: 2-run time of 1:29.46

Para Bobsled racing will continue at the track tomorrow, January 23rd

EC Results:

In St. Moritz, Switzerland, the Europe Cup (EC) racing circuit began its racing events at the Swiss track.

In Women’s Skeleton, Michelle Toukan slid to a 5th-place finish with a 2-run time of 2:22.00, and Sha’Londa Terry placed 15th with a 2-run time of 2:23.62.

In Men’s Skeleton, Darryl Payne Jr. placed 27th with a one-run time of 1:11.51, and Bradley Nicol placed 28th with a 2-run time of 1:11.54.

EC races will continue in St. Moritz on January 24th.
