Olympic Women’s Skeleton Begins as Men’s Skeleton Competition Concludes

CORTINA, ITALY (February 13, 2026) – Olympic Women’s Skeleton racing began evening, followed by the final two heats of Men’s Skeleton.
In Women’s Skeleton, after two heats, Kelly Curtis sits in 10th place with a two-run combined time of 1:55.69. Mystique Ro is currently in 17th place with a combined time of 1:56.36. Women’s Skeleton will conclude tomorrow, February 14, with Heat 3 at 6:00 p.m. CET and Heat 4 at 7:35 p.m. CET, with the awards ceremony directly following the end of competition.
In Men’s Skeleton, Austin Florian finished 12th with a four-run time of 3:46.59. Dan Barefoot finished 20th with a total time of 3:49.86.
Skeleton Mixed Team will make its Olympic debut on February 15 at 6:00 p.m. CET. All four Team USA skeleton athletes will compete; race pairings for USA 1 and USA 2 will be announced following the conclusion of Women’s Skeleton.
