2026 U.S. National Championships are Held in Lake Placid

LAKE PLACID, NY (March 23, 2026) – This past weekend, USA Bobsled/Skeleton held the 2026 U.S. National Championships, competing on the historic Lake Placid track deep-rooted in USA sliding history.
In Women’s Monobob, Sydney Milani competed, finishing with a 2-run time of 2:13.16.
In 2-Man Bobsled, four teams competed:
1st place – Grady Mercer & Seth Baylus; 2-run time of 1:53.25
2nd place – Braeden Holcombe & Chapman Beaird; 2-run time of 1:55.89
3rd place – John Eldridge III & Valor Carslen (Heat 1) / Michael Aboulhouda (Heat 2); 2-run time of 1:57.06
4th place – Collin Storms & Zeke O’Connell; 2-run time of 1:59.16
In Women’s Skeleton, the results were as follows:
1st place – Michelle Toukan; 2-run time of 1:53.30
2nd place – Kendall Wesenberg; 2-run time of 1:53.40
3rd place – Sha’Londa Terry; 2-run time of 1:55.08
4th place – Grace Otto; 2-run time of 1:55.75
5th place – Hannah Gaskins; 2-run time of 1:56.51
6th place – Liesel Baker; 2-run time of 2:01.07
In Men’s Skeleton, 12 athletes competed:
1st place – Austin Florian; 2-run time of 1:49.40
2nd place – Andy Whittier; 2-run time of 1:51.07
3rd place – Hunter Powell; 2-run time of 1:51.86
4th place – Darryl Payne Jr; 2-run time of 1:52.61
5th place – Tyler Madl; 2-run time of 1:53.08
6th place – Sam Allred; 2-run time of 1:53.15
7th place – Lukas Kissell; 2-run time of 1:53.32
8th place – Tony Furnells; 2-run time of 1:54.28
9th place – Alex Samples; 2-run time of 1:54.58
10th place – Andy Ciolino; 2-run time of 1:55.56
11th place – Darius Shelton; 2-run time of 1:55.73
12th place – Justin Zollar; 2-run time of 1:58.41
