CORTINA, ITALY (February 21, 2026) - Kaillie Armbruster Humphries and Jasmine Jones slid to a 3rd place finish tonight in Olympic 2-Woman Bobsled, marking Armbruster Humphries’ sixth Olympic medal total and Jones’ first Olympic medal - a triumphant end to her Olympic debut.
The duo earned bronze with a four-run combined time of 3:49.21, 0.75 seconds behind the leader’s combined time, after setting a track record in Heat 1.
“...To know that we literally gave it everything we had, two moms on the Olympic podium for the first time ever, is super special, and I was so honored and excited to have this moment with her,” shared Armbruster Humphries. With this Olympic medal, she and Jones made history as the first mom duo to win an Olympic medal in 2-Woman Bobsled.
“I just really wanted to give my all, and to give my all to Kaillie. I trust everything that she does, I trust in myself as well to give her that push, and I was able to do that, and I just couldn’t have been more grateful to get down to the bottom and [...] just know that we did it,” shared Jones. In addition to making history as a mom duo, Jones also made history this evening by becoming the first Air Force WCAP Airman to win a Winter Olympic medal.
Also representing Team USA, Kaysha Love and Azaria Hill placed fifth with a combined time of 3:49.71, 1.25 seconds behind the leader’s pace. Elana Meyers Taylor and Jadin O'Brien finished seventh with a combined time of 3:50.49, 2.03 seconds behind the leader’s time.
Team USA is the only country to hold the distinction of winning an Olympic medal in 2-Woman Bobsled at every Games since the event was introduced to the Olympic roster in 2002. This marks the United States’ seventh consecutive Olympic medal in the discipline.
