CORTINA, ITALY (February 15, 2026) - Women’s Olympic Monobob racing kicked off today with the first two heats of competition.

Elana Meyers Taylor currently sits in 2nd place with a two-run time of 1:59.34. “I feel pretty good,” shared Meyers Taylor about her runs. “I’m really excited about my push, wasn’t so excited about my second drive, but it’s a tricky track, and things happen […] I’m banking on coming here tomorrow and putting two solid runs together and challenging Nolte for the gold.”

Armbruster Humphries is currently in 3rd with a combined time of 1:59.43. “There’s a lot of room to make mistakes on this track. The ice conditions are changing every single run. I’ve got to work real hard at the start; I’m trying to keep up with mid-20-year-olds, and I’m still only a year and a half post-partum, so there’s definitely still room for improvement, but each and every run I take it for what it is. I try to just be better at the start, better in the drives, keep focused, and you know, we’ll see - God’s Will will be what it is.” she shared in the Mixed Zone.

Kaysha Love is currently in 5th with a combined time of 2:00.01 after two runs with very strong starts. In Heat 1, she tied for the fastest start of the heat with Cynthia Appiah from Team Canada with a time of 5.41s, and had the second fastest start in Heat 2 with a time of 5.37s.

Women’s Monobob will conclude tomorrow, February 16 with the final two heats of racing, scheduled for 7:00pm CET and 9:06pm CET.

2-Man Bobsled will begin tomorrow, with Frank Del Duca and Josh Williamson sliding for Team USA.

Del Duca, who had the honor of being a Flag Bearer for the 2026 Opening Ceremony, will be racing in his second Olympics. The 34-year-old from Bethel, ME competed in his first bobsled race in 2015, with a prior athletic background in soccer, track and field, alpine skiing and baseball. He has competed in five World Championships.

Williamson will also be racing in his second Olympics. From Lake Mary, FL, the 29-year-old was a lacrosse player before transitioning to bobsled in 2017. He has competed in three World Championships.

Fans can watch all races on NBC or Peacock.
