Skeleton Mixed Team Makes its Olympic Debut

CORTINA, ITALY (February 15, 2026) – The inaugural Olympic Skeleton Mixed Team event took place this evening, with two teams representing Team USA in the historic debut.

USA1, comprised of Austin Florian and Mystique Ro, finished 7th with a combined time of 2:00.39. USA2, featuring Dan Barefoot and Kelly Curtis, placed 10th overall with a combined time of 2:01.43.

The conclusion of the Skeleton Mixed Team competition marks the end of Olympic skeleton racing at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

Olympic bobsledding action continues tomorrow, February 16, with Heats 1 and 2 of 2-Man Bobsled scheduled for 10:00am CET and 11:57am CET. The final two Heats of Women’s Monobob will follow at 7:00pm CET and 9:06pm CET.
