2-Man Olympic Bobsled Racing Concludes
by Abby Slenker
CORTINA, ITALY (February 17, 2026) – The final two heats of Olympic 2-Man Bobsled racing concluded today. Representing Team USA, Frank Del Duca and Josh Williamson finished fourth with a four-run time of 3:41.96. The duo, both making their second Olympic appearance, put down great runs, clocking the third-best run time in heat four.
“I wish we did that fourth run four times [...] it is very bittersweet because this is a good result, and four years ago, we’d be backflipping with joy. But I know that we’ve worked really hard, and that we have the potential to medal. I’m really honored by the support we have, and I really, really wanted to win a medal for our support system. [...] there’s a lot of positives to take from this, but it’s really hard as well,” shared Del Duca in the Mixed Zone.
The pair’s 4th-place finish is the highest placing finish Team USA has had in Olympic 2-Man Bobsled in over a decade, since Steven Holcomb and Steve Langton won silver in the 2014 Sochi Games.
Del Duca and Williamson will be back in action to compete in 4-Man Bobsled beginning February 21 at 10:00 a.m. CET. Fans can tune in on NBC or Peacock.
