Team USA Bobsled Slides into Olympic Year

WINTERBERG, GERMANY (January 3, 2026) - Team USA Bobsled slid into the Olympic year with top 10 finishes across the board in today’s Monobob and 2-Man Bobsled World Cup races. 

In Women’s Monobob, Team USA placed as follows: 

-5th place - Kaillie Armbruster Humphries; 2-run time of 1:58.70

-6th place - Elana Meyers Taylor; 2-run time of 1:58.73

-8th place - Kaysha Love; 2-run time of 1:58.78

In 2-Man Bobsled, Team USA placed as follows: 

-4th place - Kris Horn and Carsten Vissering; 2-run time of 1:50.68

-5th place - Frank Del Duca and Josh Williamson; 2-run time of 1:50.73

“It’s great to start the second half of the season with good results. It shows how hard our athletes continued to work and train over the holidays. We are doing everything we can to be ready for the Games in a month,” shared USA Bobsled Head Coach Chris Fogt about the team’s performance today. 

This weekend’s World Cup races will conclude tomorrow, January 4, with 2-Woman Bobsled and 4-Man Bobsled races. Fans can livestream and re-watch all the races by heading to @IBSFsliding on YouTube.


NAC Race Results

In Lake Placid, NY, the North American Cup (NAC) races continued today. Representing Team USA, Grady Mercer and Adrian Adams placed first with a 2-run time of 1:52.07.

Races will continue in Lake Placid on January 5th.
