USA BOBSLED/SKELETON EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH KAPSUL TO SUPPORT ATHLETE SAFETY

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (November 22, 2022) – USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS) today announced an extended agreement with KapsulTM, a Canadian design and technology company that developed a patented collar utilizing Dynamic Neck Stabilization Technology. Kapsul will be providing its collar to all national team athletes, and will also be donating one dollar from every purchase on www.kapsultech.com to the team over the next four years. 

“We’re always looking for ways to improve the safety of our athletes, and Kapsul plays an important part in helping us with that initiative,” said USABS Director of Sport Performance Curt Tomasevicz. “The Kapsul collar utilizes lightweight absorption foam and is non-restrictive, which is perfect for bobsled and skeleton athletes. Kapsul has also increased their commitment to our team by providing financial support through sales of their product throughout the next quad.”

Kapsul’s Dynamic Neck Stabilization Technology gives an athlete the ability to make dynamic movements while stabilizing and supporting the neck, and the functional patent allows the lightweight adaptive absorption foam to be placed directly against the skin across the neck joints.
