USABS SIGNS FLAGS FOR GOOD AS AN OFFICIAL SUPPLIER
LAKE PLACID, NY (March 27, 2023)- USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS) has signed Flags for Good as an Official Supplier.
Flags for Good is a company with an extremely honorable mission: to raise awareness of causes that move humanity in the right direction while donating a portion of each flag sale to a relevant cause, and to put more tools of change in peoples’ hands. According to founder Micheal Green, he simply started Flags for Good on a mission to create a company with incredible values that he would want to buy from.
Flags For Good is joining efforts with USABS to provide team flags, pins, and other items, to promote and support the team.

When handling an American Flag, it can be important to respect the etiquette surrounding it; something Flags For Good knows a lot about.
“The flag of the United States is the tangible symbol of our nation. In turn, it should be treated with the same respect and reverence one has for the nation,” Green shared. “The U.S. Flag Code was adopted in 1942 and has some specific, often overlooked, guides on how to properly show respect when handling an American Flag. It's important to remember that the Flag Code is not punishable by law and should always be referenced in context. As a team representing the United States, the USA Bobsled Skeleton team strives to represent the United States in every way, including respecting and embodying everything our flag stands for. Flags For Good is excited to not only provide a number of United States Flags to the team and to the athletes, but also guide the team in how to best use the symbols of our nation and to represent the USA on the world stage.”
