Began bobsledding in 2014 following the Sochi Olympics, made the national team in her first year sliding....She was not born with freckles: they appeared after her first year of soccer at age 8.... When she was little, she was fluent in Spanish....She was originally recruited to Brown to run track, but she wanted to play volleyball instead.
