Samuel Beach was born on Saturday, May 22, 1999 in Potsdam, N.Y. The native of Altona, N.Y. attends Northern Adirondack Central High School. He has been bobsledding for three years in Lake Placid. He also participates in downhill skiing and tennis. Before bobsledding he was involved in soccer, football, and track and field.
Beach started his involvement in bobsled through the Lake Placid junior bobsled program. He was introduced through a friend.
